St. Thomas Alumni Pipe Band

 

Welcome to the official website of the St. Thomas Alumni Pipe Band based out of Houston, Texas, USA.  The band is a competitive Grade 2 outfit led by Pipe Major Jamie Gattinger, Pipe Sergeant Mike Cusack and Drum Sergeant Graham Brown.

 

The band is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was formed to give both graduates of St. Thomas Episcopal School and local pipers and drummers the opportunity to continue their pursuit of musical excellence. The band's roster consists of nearly 50 members, many of whom travel from out of state and Canada to play with this successful organization. 

 

The band competes annually at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland and is currently the only band within its grade that represents Houston, Texas and the American south.  The band placed 2nd at the 2012 Championships.

 

The band is available to play at a variety of events including competitions, concerts, corporate events, parades and weddings.
